A private island, rebuilt with intention

About Namena Island Beach Resort

Namena Island Beach Resort is a private island sanctuary in Fiji's Koro Sea, opening for its inaugural season in April 2027. Set across one hundred and ten acres of preserved forest and beach, the resort comprises fifteen beachfront bures arranged along the shoreline of a seventy square kilometre marine reserve.

The resort is built for travellers who measure a place by what has been left alone as much as by what has been built. Divers come for some of the most protected reef in the Pacific, with four dedicated boats and access that few destinations can match. Conservation-minded guests find a bird sanctuary and a forest left entirely to itself. Couples and families seeking privacy can reserve the island in its entirety for weddings, milestones, and gatherings.

Namena is being rebuilt and operated by a team committed to resilience and restraint, restoring a place shaped by Cyclone Winston into a sanctuary that honours the reef, the forest, and the community of Fiji.
